Established in 1989 Wood Park is a family-owned vineyard and winery in the King Valley. Wood Park draws on grapes sources from within the diverse micro-climates of the King Valley and adjoining valley’s and uses a mix of traditional and modern winemaking techniques.
Roussanne is one of three white varieties of the Northern Rhone in France. Often blended with Marsanne and Viognier it is seldom seen as a single varietal and makes for an intriguing wine.
We have been growing Roussanne at Wood Park for sixteen years and it has proved well suited to the site and has developed a strong following amongst our customers.
This wine has subtle citrus notes combining with peach, nectarine & honey flavours. Fantastic line and length all subtly blended with top Burgundian oak. This a perfect wine for the passionate Chardonnay drinker seeking to extend their palette.
