Tempranillo is one of the world's classic varieties, the main variety grown in Spain and was planted at our Symphonia Vineyard in the King Valley in 1990. The berries are relatively large, well coloured and loosely packed. The growing season is short, with the first shoots late and the harvesting early.
This wine shows our Tempranillo at its best vibrant and energetic with density, complexity and concentration. Ripe black cherry fruit characters are rounded out by soft, mouth-filling tannins derived from the grape and built on during maturation in French oak barriques. A versatile, medium bodied wine to enjoy with a range of Spanish inspired dishes.
