Sangiovese is the most widely planted red wine grape throughout Italy. The Michelini Sangiovese has medium red colour with cherry and plum aromas. The palate shows full ripeness and structure with a long savoury finish.

The Michelini family are Italian Masters of wine making in Australia, originating from the Trentino Alto Adige region of the Italian Alps with a family winemaking tradition for over 150 years. Their first Australian vineyard was established in the Buckland Valley in 1982.
