Vinegar has long been known to improve digestion, however many patients found it too acidic, so using his herbal medicine knowledge he decided to reduce it & make it sweeter, & more palatable. It was enjoyed so much , that the Sweet Balsamic Reduction was created under the Jomeis Fine Foods brand.
A pure reduction of balsamic vinegar gently blended with Australian raw sugar to create this delicious artisanal condiment, ideal on both sweet and savoury dishes. Splash onto salads, mix with extra virgin olive oil for a lovely bruschetta base, baste roasted meats in the reduction or pour over fruit deserts to add something extra.
