Dal Zotto Estate was established in the King Valley in 1987, and brought cool-climate wine varietals from the north of Italy to Australia. Notably Otto Dal Zotto is credited as one of the pioneers of Australian Prosecco. A family business that lives by the values of family, tradition and innovation.
With clean acidity and flavours of red fruit the cherries, and spice. The 2018 Barbera pairs well with meat mains such as BBQ steak, roast lamb or a rich meat ragu. It will also pair well with hearty vegetable stews and mushroom dishes.
Reviews: Dal Zotto Barbera 2018 – 92 Silver
Halliday Wine Companion 2021 - Archetypal barbera with plenty of sweet, spicy depth to it. Plum, dark cherry, wild strawberry scent with a touch of toasty oak. The palate really shines, varietally well defined in black fruits, wild herbs, musk and rose with a kick of juicy acidity that works the mouth. Fits the bill in both generosity of fruit and value for money. Jeni Port
