The La Zona Barbera 2017 has the aroma of blackberries and plum, with a herbal and spicy oak background. Medium bodied with a dark berry palate, it has a fine earthy finish.

Halliday Wine Companion 2021 - A variation on a cherry theme with fresh black/red fruit and kirsch. Barely medium-weighted with soft supple tannins and overall, a really neat red to get into. Just the charry oak clips the finish and I question the need for new barrels at all. Jeni Port
