From Bob and Helen McNamara's vineyard in the hills of Whorouly South, in the Alpine Valley wine region. Their family handpicks individual parcels of fruit to produce small quantities of handcrafted premium cool-climate wine.
The Sangiovese Cabernet 2018 has attractive brambly aromas of rosehip and red fruits against a backdrop of dark chocolate and dried herbs. Medium in body, the palate shows juicy red currant and cranberries with savoury notes of tobacco leaf and lovely rustic tannins that bring balance and finish.

Halliday Wine Companion 2021 – Vibrant purple-red hue; intriguing nose of wet concrete, Campari boot polish, then wafts of spice red fruits take over. While not being a big wine, the tannins are neatly compact and textural. Tangy and moreish. Jane Faulkner
