Beatties Biscuits came about through a love of cheese biscuits shared with family and friends and from a recipe handed down by Mary's grandmother using mature cheddar, parmesan, Gippsland butter and flour with a touch of cayenne.
Beatties Biscuits are made at the bottom of the Victorian Great Dividing Range using the best possible ingredients by hand and with love.
The Bluettes, blue cheese biscuits, are made using a Danish style Victorian blue cheese, it has an intense but sweet flavour with some chili in the flour and butter mix for that extra kick.
It's delicious warmed in the oven or microwave, and can be served with drinks or cocktails, or with morning and afternoon teas. The cooks tip is that these are great with red wine.
