Established in 1989 Wood Park is a family-owned vineyard and winery in the King Valley. Wood Park draws on grapes sources from within the diverse micro-climates of the King Valley and adjoining valley’s and uses a mix of traditional and modern winemaking techniques.
Tempranillo is Spanish for 'early ripening'. The Tempranillo grapes are the first to fruit on the vineyard with berries loaded with colour and enticing flavours.
Our Tempranillo grapes are grown on our vineyard at Kneebones Gap, and the 2022 vintage has proven to be an excellent year for the Spanish varietal. Classic savory Tempranillo characteristics with cherry and raspberry notes make for an excellent food wine.
